Faith Story
I attended church every Sunday with my family as my parents were heavily involved in Children’s Ministry. Participating in Sunday School, VBS, and youth choir I new there was value in being a part of the faith community, but didn’t understand why. When I left for college, I left corporate worship and embraced a life that was not honoring to God. I do believe The Lord continued to nudge me however, as there were people in my life who introduced me to faith-based campus-related activities. After college I continued to live a life separated from God until a friend and I decided to attend a midweek worship service at a large church near my home. I enjoyed the service and decided to attend each week. After joining a New Believers class I realized that I was living a life of sin and that I was in need of a Savior, and accepted Christ into my life in September 1997.
