Tech Director

Kingdom One is partnered with a community focused church located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA that is looking to grow their team by adding a Tech Director!

Vision for this role:

The Technical Director’s main purpose is to ensure a consistently high quality in sound, lighting, media, and live video for church services and events. This execution will be through equipping and recruiting volunteers for the media department.

Our Ideal candidate:

• Expertise in large format audio, video, lighting, and online broadcast systems and equipment as well as experience managing technical teams and volunteers preferred.
• Working knowledge of digital sound boards.
• Competent interpersonal relationship skills.
• Strong Biblical knowledge, understanding, and personal application.
• High level communicator and recruiter of volunteers of all ages.
• Self-starter/motivator/problem solver.
• Has a desire to invest in, mentor, and develop new and/or less experienced sound, media, live camera operators.
• Recognizes and embraces the value of teamwork success and individual success.
• Ready and willing to become invested in this church as your church home.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Trade School completion in the field of work preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years audio mixing experience.
• Highly Skilled in Front of House/Broadcast Audio, Broadcast Video and Lighting.

What you’ll do:

• Consult and ensure technical support on weekend service programming, gatherings and events (off site/on site).
• Contextualize service production elements for the congregation.
• Oversee Production and Media volunteer recruiting, development, and management across all ministries.
• Prepare a budget based on needs of repairs, preventative measures, upgrades, purchases and general maintenance.
• Manage equipment, maintenance and service contract budgets for the department.
• Oversee technical interns/staff/volunteers for all services and events that require technical support.
• Manage Services and Schedule via Planning Center Online for the media department.
• Provide expertise in Audio front of house and online, livestream video and lighting support.
• Oversee technical aspects of Livestream and Podcasting.
