Insurance Sales Producer
Job Summary:
To solicit new business and grow client base including cross-selling, seeking referrals, cold calling and phone solicitation. Provide personal and professional service to clients.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Skills Requirement:
Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes diagnostic surveys for customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Sales and Marketing – Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
Technical Specific – Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Lync, Gotomeeting, Salesforce, ability to use agency management system, preferably AMS 360
Self Motivated and Able to Work Independently – Ability to identify and prioritize completion of tasks with little to no supervision or guidance. Must be able to make decisions independently to achieve sales goals and maintain satisfaction of policyholders.
Job Duties
Meet with Clients at their home or business to deliver and explain policy terms, to analyze insurance programs and suggest additions or changes..
Calculate premiums.
Customize insurance programs to suit individual clients, often covering a variety of risks.
Sell various types of insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of insurance companies, including, but not limited to, automobile, property, liability, worker’s compensation, professional liability and umbrella policies.
Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of property to be insured, potential exposures and risk management solutions, and to discuss any existing coverage.
Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new clients and generate lists of prospective clients.
Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans.
Negotiate coverages and premiums with carrier underwriters
Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any completion of appropriate forms.
Ensure understanding of Company Best Practices.
Inspect property, examining its general condition, type of construction, age, and other characteristics, to decide if it is a good insurance risk.
Processing insurance Applications, Quotes, Rating, Cost Estimates.
Licensing Requirements
Life, Health, Fire & Casualty License; CIC Designation within 7 years of employment, Maintain CA Drivers License and stay in compliance with Company Driving Policy.
Base Salary: $75,000 + Commissions
Physical Duties and Working Conditions:
General office and computer work. Travel to client locations as needed. Occasional lifting of up to twenty five pounds. Constant standing, sitting, and walking. Occasional twisting, bending and reaching. Ability to listen to and comprehend both written and verbal communication to and from co-workers and clients.
